Host of Class XtrA on Class 91.3fm Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss believes that female artistes in the music industry should actively draw attention to themselves. He feels that compared to their male counterparts, female artistes in Ghana tend to be more laid back and passive in promoting their music and themselves.

Zeal suggests that female artistes should be more proactive in publicizing their work and actively seeking opportunities to showcase their talents, citing American based female artiste Nicki Minaj as one of the most successful female artistes in the world, and is because of her consistency and pushing all through even in a male dominated industry. He emphasizes the importance of female artistes asserting themselves and making their presence known, especially in a male-dominated industry.

“I feel they are not doing too much of which they can do so much, because the likes of Nicki Minaj and others are putting the works and they’ve been recognized. I’m not saying they are not doing it, we have the likes of Gyakie and others who are doing so well but it seem in general they are a bit laid back “, Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss asserted.

He encourages female musicians to embrace their individuality and experiment with different genres and approaches to stand out from the crowd.

Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss believes that Ghanaian female artistes should take a more assertive and proactive approach in promoting their music and carving out their own paths in the industry.
