Have you ever wondered why bad news sells faster and it is so difficult changing from negative habits to positive ones???

Medical Science indicates that new brain connections are created every time a person learns something new. The human brain has about 70000 thoughts per day out of which 70% are believed to be negative.

Also, Social Scientists report that naturally, human beings think more negative thoughts than positive as a defensive mechanism to prepare us for potential danger.

This obviously means that 70% of the things that are projected to us in the real world are negative, from the media, internet and life experiences. And these negative things shape our thoughts and perceptions about life and how we live it.

But the reverse is also true and factual. If you focus your mind and energy on the 30% of positive things happening around the world, that also becomes your reality. So you do have a choice to decide on what you want to feed your mind with.

Moreover, thinking negative has been proven by medical science to have a negative toll on human health. The physical body suffers when the mind is filled with negativity.

According to Health Scientists, the cells in a human’s body react to everything his or her mind says. So negativity brings down the immune system and you may get sick.
Optimism will strengthen your immune system against invasion by foreign viruses and bacteria.

One of the surest ways to keep the mind from chronic negative thoughts is by keeping it busy and productive. Social Scientists postulate that people tend to be happier when kept busy, as this prevents them from thinking about the negative things in life.

It is just like the Bible says that ” the devil finds work for the idle mind.

The Bible also says in Philippians 4: 8 that; Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on These things. Philippians 4: 8.
